Hello everyone and welcome to this first, catch up instalment, of ‘View from the Bridge’, from your Project Coordinator Bridget Paterson.
Over the next few weeks, we will try and catch up with all the amazing projects and events that have already started, and try to explain, who is invovled, what they are doing and who we have to thank for this great Landscape Partnership Scheme. Re: Welcome Hi Bridget, I've tried to get into the site from the home page to make a query but could not so am coming through the blog portal.I'm over here in Innellan, near Toward on Cowal and look over to you on Bute. Yennie (Van Oostende) has told me about the fact that you are encouraging different country crafts to be taken up on Bute and further afield and that you are running courses on these various crafts. Do you have an itinerary or programme of events ? I know of someone here who is desperate to learn some dry stone dyking skills, they are not working and on a low income, would there be a small grant they could tap into which could help them with their traveling costs over from Dunoon to Bute ?Look forward to receiving your replyBest wishes, Heather
