Another glorious week weatherwise, must be a Royal Commission week, they always seem to bring good weather.
I managed to get two days out on the land with the Royal Commission and once again it was a great experience. If you are intersted in archaeology register with the project to be able to join the team when they are next on Bute reviewing the archaeological record.
You need to be pretty fit, prepared to spend a long day walking in the landscape, up hill and down glen, across bogs and tussocky ankle wrenching moorland, through knee high heather and thigh high tangles of tripping hazard bracken but by gum it is worth it!
