A very busy week and another when we were privileged to host the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historic Monuments of Scotland (RCAHMS) again on Bute.
I unfortunately missed the first couple of days as I had to attend a funeral in England but I am relaibly informed that the days were excellent. The record was revised, attendees learned a great deal abourt field monument recognition and everyone wnjoyed themselves.
I was able to get out with them on the Thursday and had a marvelous time learning about the unexpected and unusual wealth of turf structures surviving on Bute.
We also began to look at and plan the details for some of the year 2 projects. Our year 2 starts in September!
It was also necessary to do final planning for the Path Building and Maintenace Training Course scheduled for Saturday April 25th.
