This week it poured with rain. The Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland were on the island again involved in record review. I was unable to get out onto the land this time due to pressure of work, honestly, it was not the rain which put me off, I swear it.
This time Jack Stevenson came out from Edinburgh. He is the Head of Survey and Recording. It was an honour and a great pleasure to have Jack on the island. He brought with him Marilyn Brown who was making the arrangements for the Royal Commissioners themselves to visit Bute and the project in September. this si a great honour and we are delighted.
On Wednesday 6th we had a visit, through LEADER, of 10 Swedes. They came to Eaglesham House for coffee and a presentation about the project and we then toured some of the project sites.
Later in the week Inverclyde Council came over to see what we are planning top do with Big Man Walking.
