This week was the final archaeological record review week. The Commissin checked over some areas with queries and have been finalising areas for more detailed topographical surveys which could go ahead as early as the autumn and we hope would include the community.

The Commission has been astonishingly generous to the project with their time, community engagment and supremely high standards, we also thank them for their friendship. Unlike many organisations the Commision is massively easy to deal with, which is a great help to me.

I unfortunately was confined to the office shoveling paperwork so onl;y heard about the revison days second hand, and the weather was magnificent too, grrrr.

This week we also reviewed the successful pilot XL in the Landscape day and have made tentative plans for next year.

We have also moved a step closer to the completion of interpretive signage for year 1 project sites. Rather than go to an off island priofessional company we are giving 4 local artists, one in each year, the opportunity to design the interpretive signs for completed projects.
