This is a blog about archaeology, mostly.

It’s also a blog about the people, places, objects, sites, concepts, thoughts, deeds and actions that go together to make up a wide ranging partnership scheme like Discover Bute.

It’s also a record of the encounters and experiences I will have over the next few years with the island, its archaeology, its residents, its exiles and its visitors.

It won’t be like LOST, it may have a touch of Swiss Family Robinson (with added trowels), and it will certainly be fun (for me anyway).
