An eight meter tall giant is coming to the island this weekend (24th Spetember), in case you hadn't noticed!

This promises to be great fun and a chance for us to show off the many achievements of the project so far to a wide audience. I'm particualrly looking forward to the dress as an Edwardian Sunday along the tramway with a sandcastle competition at Ettrick Bay - Sandhenge anyone, in true Spinal Tap style......

If you are out and about on the island for the event, why not take a break from the festivities to look at other giants of the island. Bute Muesum are showing their highly successful 'Bute Connections' again from Wednesday 23rd for one week only. This highlights 8 of the many notable people that have connection to Bute and is a brilliant series of biographies of lives gone by.
