Here we are in March! Yes there are mad March hares on Bute!

At the very end of February tree surgeons began to take down the dead, dying and about to fall trees on the Tramway route and at the Sceduled Ancient Monument Cnoc an Rath. This work continued throughout the first week in March.

The Tramway path continues to develop with work now underway along the back of the park at Port Bannatyne.

This week too Alison Davie and her team of stonemasons battled atrocious weather to carry out consolidation works at St Ninian's chapel.
