What a good week, on the whole.

The Dry Stone Walling Association came over to recce the site of the wall for the first Dry Stone Walling Training weekend to be held on the 18th and 19th May 2009. They have decided to use a wall at Ardmaeish, many thanks to Robert Reid.

This course is full but to put your name down for one of the other courses, they will run over the 4 years of the project send an email.

Some of the Big Man Walking team also came across for a further planning meeting for our Bute Heritage Time Bridge weekend. More details to follow, but put the September Weekend, 26,27 and 28 2009, in your diary.

Walling and hedging continued apace.

One small disappointment was that we had to cancel the Family Planting day planned for Saturday March 14th due to the terrible weather.
