Bracken Switching

Come along and fight back against the bracken! Billy Shields will show you how to 'switch' bracken with a flexible stick - withy no need to touch it. After a few switchings the bracken should be dead!
You will get to keep the switch and hopefully you will go on to switch other places and put your photos onto this website.

On December 5th as part of the Mount Stuart Christmas Fair the DBLPS will be holding a lantern parade and a Tree Dressing Competition.
Come along and make a lantern and/or some decorations for your tree.

DBLPS Sustainability with Zero Carbon Bute

Mount Stuart Christmas Food and Craft Market featuring the DBLPS

Join us for family fun. Enjoy browsing & buying from our local food & craft producers stalls in the magnificent Marble Hall and take in the live entertainment whilst enjoying a mince pie with a glass of mulled wine. And there is plenty for the kids too: A programme of activities includes Tree Decorating , Storytelling, Wassailling Sessions and even a Lantern Parade. And of course, Christmas at Mount Stuart wouldn’t be complete without a visit to Santa’s Grotto.
Free admission & free parking.
All children’s activities being run by DBLPS are free. There is a small charge for Santa’s Grotto.
